FAQ's

How does coaching work?

Coaching is predominately conducted over the phone so location is not an issue. For those clients who live in the North West it is possible to arrange fact to face appointments at the office near Manchester.

What are the benefits of telephone coaching?

The benefits are that it is very time efficient as there is no travel involved and client’s often find they can be more focused over the phone

How many sessions will I need?

As everyone is different it is difficult to say how many sessions will be required or when they will be needed. Coaching is therefore offered on a monthly basis with the ability to schedule as many or as few sessions (within constraints) as required to keep you moving forward. Typically clients schedule one session a week as this gives them time to undertake agreed actions but also provides momentum to keep them focused. However, coaching will be tailored to the specific needs of each client. Included in this is opportunity to email or make phone calls to the coach between sessions.

Is it confidential?

Absolutely. All information that is discussed within the confines of the relationship is totally confidential and will never be discussed with third parties.

Can I cancel?

Yes cancellation is possible, life has a habit of getting in the way sometimes.  We request that you give us 48 hours notice.

Is everyone a good candidate for coaching?

In theory yes, in reality not necessarily. Coaching is most successful for people who are at a point in their lives where change is not an option but a must. Any change, even positive and exciting change, brings challenges and generally takes us out of our comfort zone. To stick with it when things are challenging takes commitment. The coach will totally support you, help motivate you when things are challenging, help you to make the decisions that are right for you but they cannot do it for you. The question you must ask yourself is “Is staying the same an option?” If the answer is NO then the chances are you will be a good coaching candidate.

Does this mean I am committed to changing my job? What happens if I change my mind?

That happens. You may find that the job you have or were in previously is actually the right job for you it is just that some aspects need altering. Your commitment is to you, to honouring who you are and making the best decisions possible. If that means staying where you are and working from within the organisation to make the changes necessary then great.

How long do session last?

Sessions normally last about 60 minutes.  The first session is normally longer
