Caelum Coaching and
Consultants was founded by Gill Best in 2003.
Gill is a Career Coach, Executive
and Business Coach, a certified NLP
Practitioner, Language and Behaviour (LAB) Profile Consultant
and Trainer and a business consultant with an MSc
in Organisational Development.
Gill is also the Managing Consultant
for John Lees Associates. John Lees is
the author of that well know career change manual "How To Get A
Job You Love" (see book links for details).
As a coach and NLP practitioner Gill
is highly skilled at helping private clients identify the career that
will enrich their lives, the career where they will be able to make
their maximum contribution and know that they are living up to their
potential. Through the use of NLP tools and techniques and building a
solid foundation identified through the LAB Profile and other
tools and exercises, Gill’s clients develop a strong belief in
their own strengths, talents, skills and abilities, building a high
level of certainty that their next career decision is right for them.
This level of certainty ensures clients are ideally prepared for
success in their new career.
Gill has a wealth of business and organisational experience having worked overseas
for large multinationals, within the public sector in both the Higher
Education and Government sectors, for medium sized manufacturing
companies as well as starting a number of companies on her own and
with partners. Gill has also undertaken voluntary work with
charities. This breadth and depth of experience provides Gill with
unparalleled insight into the world of work that she uses to help her
client truly assess the suitability of their chosen field of work.
In addition, Gill has direct experience of the process of career
change. Made redundant at the beginning of the nineties when the
economy was in decline, Gill took this “setback” as an
opportunity to re-invent her career. She successfully trained as an Organisational Development Consultant and went on
to a rewarding career. A
number of years ago, Gill decided that it was time to re-evaluate her
career once more and using the knowledge gained, she decided the time
had come to follow her developing passion and set up in private
practice to coach clients to identify their ideal careers.
This experience as a career change “client”, together
with the wealth of work experience, the coaching and NLP skills makes
Gill an ideal partner to support clients in their own personal search
for the ideal career.
